If blue and white is the classic, burgundy and green is the drama. Madisyn and Sam chose a rich, moody fall palette for their September wedding, deep burgundy florals, black-tie bridesmaids, jewel tones against the white chapel, and it was absolutely stunning.
There is something about burgundy and green in early fall. It feels warm and grounded, a little romantic, a little bold, exactly like the season it was born in.

Here is the thing about a white stucco chapel: it is the perfect backdrop for a bold palette. Against all that clean white, Madisyn's burgundy florals and her bridesmaids' black dresses looked striking. The deeper the color, the more the chapel made it pop.

September at the foot of Mt. Nebo is one of our favorite times of year. The light turns warm and golden, the evenings cool off just enough, and the whole property takes on that settled, end-of-summer glow. Madisyn and her bridal party caught it perfectly out in the field, and the day carried right into a relaxed celebration on the grounds, lawn games and all.
If you love color, do not be afraid of it. A rich palette like burgundy and green reads as elegant, not loud, especially against the clean lines of the chapel. Madisyn and Sam went bold and warm, and their fall wedding was all the more memorable for it.
